Michele De Lucchi is an independent designer whose Milanese studio has expanded to meet the demands of a global client, AMDL CIRCLE. They took on the challenge of designing Arrital’s new Flagship within the building designed in the 50’s by Vico Magistretti, an unparalleled master architect of the 20th century. The name AMDL CIRCLE stands for Architect Michele De Lucchi Circle and includes the founder Michele De Lucchi, Angelo Micheli, Managing Director, and Davide Angeli, Deputy Managing Director. The studio’s mission is clear: to support the improvement of people’s lives – both physically and intellectually – as the truest objective of architecture and design. AMDL CIRCLE joins design, architecture, and interior design and works in many sectors. A few highlights of its many projects include those for Intesa SanPaolo and Novartis, the exhibition designs of the Neues Museum in Berlin and the Gallerie d’Italia in Milan, the UniCredit Pavilion in Piazza Gae Aulenti, and the majestic Peace Bridge in Tbilisi, Georgia. Each project underscores its commitment to making social contributions and emphasizes how architecture can influence human behavior and social applications.
