The worktop consists of a particle board panel, covered on the visible side with a decorative laminate, treated with thermosetting resins under high-pressure pressing. The visible edges are colour-matched to the surface. Laminate is a stable, homogeneous, non-porous and high-density material with exceptional hardness and outstanding resistance to scratches, impact, abrasions and heat. It is, therefore, extremely simple to maintain and is unaffected by commonly used household chemicals.
