The art of getting away to find yourself

INSPIRATION
Mauritius, a sanctuary that becomes a stage for sharing.
An island in the Indian Ocean, a place that exudes strength and the call of nature. Port Louis, the lively capital of the island, is home to a family with an inherently nomadic lifestyle, whose open-plan kitchen is at the centre of their home. Their love of outdoor sports, their desire to live in contact with nature, to photograph and respect it, all find their place in a relaxing house with everything needed to cultivate personal thoughts and shared experiences. Thoughtfully designed, welcoming open spaces turn this house into a haven, but also a stage on which to live, reflect and share a life.
A kitchen with a modern and streamlined design, where natural light becomes the main element, filtering through the large windows.
The Spacefit profile makes it possible to move the units out from the wall, thus obtaining an ergonomic space, which includes integrated LED lights and optional power points.
The Up_Down system transforms the wall units in intelligent spaces, pulling the shelves downwards with a gliding movement, so anything contained therein is within reach, while the amortised retraction mechanism is extremely practical. The baskets can be removed, making cleaning easier.
The Silky Alpaca finish combines with Maui wood in harmony, while the open-end module embellishes the corner tall pantry unit.
The retractable doors guarantee maximum freedom of movement in the kitchen: each accessorised compartment is easily accessed and clutter-free, thus eliminating the obstacle of traditional open doors.
