Arrital’s Nautila wins coveted If Design Award 2023
A new prestigious international prize for Arrital: Nautila, the kitchen that revolutionizes the concept of space (designed by Franco Driusso), has won the iF Design Award 2023 in the Product Design, category “Kitchen”. A renowned international award that celebrates product design excellence every year since 1954, with almost 11,000 entries from 56 countries in 2023.
With Nautila, Arrital’s furnishing proposal goes beyond the idea of a kitchen environment and becomes part of the architectural project, harnessing a highly innovative expressive force. This evolution is made possible by the combination of design and technology, where high-performance materials give rise to a multitasking architecture with sculptural forms.
Rational, material-rich, elegant, the Nautila kitchen system draws inspiration from the perfection of a noble “oceanic architecture”: the shell of the Nautilus mollusk, whose internal composition is recognized as one of the most famous forms of the golden ratio, the mathematical language of beauty and absolute design.
Nautila was awarded among the most innovative kitchens in 2022, also securing the GOOD DESIGN® Award, an important international recognition awarded annually by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
