“A journey combining flavour and design::
bringing together haute cuisine, Nautila by Arrital and the mixology of Gin Mare”
October 2024 – On 15 October, Arrital, a leading designer and creator of top-quality kitchens, hosted an exclusive event in partnership with Gin Mare, the super premium gin that captures the essence of the Mediterranean, at the new Milan showroom in Corso Europa 22. The “Pairing D’Autore” recipe book by Gin Mare, featuring a collection that explores the art of pairing gourmet dishes with signature cocktails, was officially launched in the presence of numerous journalists and stakeholders from various product sectors, providing them with a unique sensory experience.
The new Arrital Showcase has been designed as a multi-functional space where connections and flavours are cultivated, thus reflecting the brand’s philosophy: to combine technology, design and taste in a welcoming, highly innovative setting. Located in the heart of the Milan Design District, this space is not just a simple showroom, but a genuine ecosystem created to encourage socialisation, creativity and collaboration. Designed for dynamic adaptability, the showroom not only showcases Arrital’s top-of-the-line kitchen displays but also hosts events, showcooking sessions, and professional gatherings. One of the statement features of the space is the vertical kitchen garden, symbolising Arrital’s deep-rooted connection to sustainability and nature. This ever-changing garden blends in seamlessly with the interior staircase in Vico Red, a nod to the architect, Vico Magistretti, and the use of authentic materials, such as calceterra (lime-earth mix), aluminium and wood, creating a warm, cosy atmosphere. Arrital’s Milan showroom serves as a platform that fosters connections between people, ideas, and nature, featuring a hanging urban kitchen garden as a tangible symbol of sustainability.
One of the highlights of the event was the preparation by Francesco Apreda, of the Idylio by Apreda restaurant, of several dishes featured in the new “Pairing d’Autore” recipe book by Gin Mare, directly in Arrital’s iconic show kitchen Nautila, located on the ground floor of the showroom.

This performance gave those present the opportunity to witness the preparation of the dishes first-hand, showcasing the perfect blend of functional design and haute cuisine.
Christian Dal Bo, General Manager of Arrital, stated, “Design today cannot just be functional. It must stimulate the senses and create connections between people. The concept of our new Milan showroom is a space where design blends harmoniously with culinary experiences and social interaction. Every detail, from the hanging kitchen garden to the flexibility of the spaces, is designed to cultivate relationships and promote an authentic and sustainable style.”
The “Pairing d’Autore” recipe book proposes unique pairings of dishes with cocktails. It is an invitation to explore the world of Mediterranean mixology at home as well. The recipes include dishes such as ‘Armonia Marina’ and ‘Crostini del Pirata’, paired with cocktails such as Mare Tonic and Capri Lemonade, which delighted guests at the event.
