The coordinated design of AKB_08

It is quite often the cabinet door which takes centre stage in Arrital kitchens. An essential detail which stamps its mark on the style and functionality. In the new project for the AKB_08 kitchens, the designer, Franco Driusso, Arrital Creative Director, has also made use of the concept of the framed door.

What he developed is a new “Floating core” design solution in which aesthetic lightness is combined with the solidity of the structure. The result is a contemporary design which also features in a variety of accessories, from the “AKB_Board” tray, the work tops and shelves to the innovative extractor hood solution entitled “Majestic”, specifically conceived for island solutions, and coordinated with the raised edge sink which lends character to the washing area, as well as a useful functional touch for collecting water and splashes. And it is precisely this idea of being at home in the kitchen which is behind the concept of Akb_08 compositions, with large-size work areas and shelves to meet the demands for a more professional style kitchen.
